Commsworld Extends Support for Boroughmuir Rugby

Continued support across our teams and community

Boroughmuir Rugby is delighted to continue its long-standing partnership with Commsworld, with the Edinburgh-based business extending its support across the club’s men’s first team and girls’ rugby.

The renewed partnership will see Commsworld remain as a sponsor of our Men’s National League 1 first team for a further year, while extending its support of the Boroughmuir Banshees girls’ squads for another two years.

Alongside its ongoing support of the Boroughmuir Rugby Academy, the partnership means Commsworld will continue to support players across the club, from those taking their first steps in the game through to our senior teams.

Having a partner that supports different areas of the club is hugely valuable to Boroughmuir. Commsworld’s backing helps us continue to develop rugby, create opportunities for players and support the continued growth of the girls’ game.

The relationship also extends beyond rugby. Boroughmuir is proud to be a hub for the wider local community, providing a welcoming space for a variety of groups, activities and initiatives throughout the year.

From dementia coffee mornings and Strong and Steady classes for older community members, to knitting groups, antenatal classes and children’s dance lessons, the club brings people together both on and off the pitch.

As part of the continued partnership, Commsworld will also host a Connected Communities event, as part of the Boroughmuir Business Club this Wednesday 7th October, allowing members to explore how digital connectivity can help bring people together and improve lives.

Commenting on the renewed partnership, Greg Cannie, Business Development Manager at Boroughmuir Rugby, said:

“Commsworld has been a fantastic supporter of Boroughmuir Rugby, and we’re extremely pleased to see that relationship continue with this new sponsorship deal for the first team and the Banshees.

“Having a partner prepared to support different parts of the club is hugely valuable to us. Their backing helps us continue to develop rugby across the club and provide opportunities for players at different stages of their journey as well as members.”

We want to thank Commsworld for their continued support of Boroughmuir Rugby and for their commitment to our players, members and wider community.

We look forward to continuing to build on this partnership together.
