100 YEARS AT MEGGETLAND

In 2024 Boroughmuir celebrated 100 years at Meggetland. Since we first set down roots in 1924, Meggetland has been our home and the beating heart of our club.

Over the last 102 years we’ve seen many changes; pitch improvements, new clubhouses, super stands, our official charity status and the introduction of our Academy to feed our senior teams as well as national squads.

And in our 100th year, our whole club got behind our fundraising challenge, raising £100k in our 100th year, and providing us with a stronger future in the shape of a bespoke exclusive gym for our youth and senior players.

 

But what remains the same across the decades is our dedication, interest, excitement and love of rugby.  

Through passionate players, parents, sponsors, supporters, friends and family, Boroughmuir continues to be a club for and about community.
