It is with much sadness that we heard of the death of Janis Milligan, who died after a short illness at the very young age of 73.
Janis was a very loyal member of our club stretching back many years. Janis was always willing to help – whether that be at our Burns Suppers or making sure her husband, Eric, provided civic receptions for successful Boroughmuir teams which he did. These were memorable events, and once included a garden party at Holyrood, and a reception at the City Chambers.
Janis was very generous with her time and money for the club, recently supporting the upgrading of the Bruce Hay suite which we were immensely grateful for.
Janis will be sorely missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to Eric and family at this time.
The funeral is at Mortonhall on Tuesday 28th January at 3pm
